She was a Mensa member and actor who played the roles as a character in Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice, Stuart Little and Thelma & Louise. The actress has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award nominee for her role of Dottie Hinson in A League of Their Own. In 1988, she was awarded the Academy Award Best Supporting actor for Muriel Pritchett's character in the film The Accidental Tourist. She performed a female role on the screen in Beetlejuice (1988), an American comedy/horror film written and directed by Tim Burton. Virginia Elizabeth Geena Davis is a prominent American actor and activist. Davis is a recipient of numerous honors for her work as an actor on television and film and has been praised for her portrayals of powerful and authentic female characters as well as her work in promoting women in the industry. They were in the same household in the midst of raising her children in Concord California. She hoped to become professional soccer player when she was young, but in 2002 an ankle injury occurred in the final year of her high school. She was able to recover and play soccer again as a forward Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill California. There she was awarded her associate's degree. She received Junior College All-American awards and then transferred to Arizona State University. Unfortunately the self-doubt of her caused her to give up soccer. The next place she went to was California State University Fullerton. When she graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts diploma in business administration, and an additional human resource degree and a minor in human resources, she relocated to Los Angeles. After her studies she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting modeling and promotion work. This is when she stumbled to a call for auditions at the W.W.E. Talent scouts were taken aback by her, and she was given the opportunity to audition for a period of four weeks. Then she moved to Orlando to start the training.
